One Day Youth Conference at Oklahoma Brethren Bible Chapel

We arrived in Oklahoma Friday July 19th and had the wonderful opportunity to stay with Isac Samuel and his family. We had great fun as we spent time in fellowship and study of the scriptures. On Saturday we went to Oklahoma Brethren Bible Chapel and met with the very energetic youth to discuss Running to Win the Prize. We looked at our theme in the light of 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NKJV) Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

While the older youth was being lead by Raymond, the young children were meeting with Jennifer and Victoria. They played games, memorized verses and learned how they too can "Run to Win the Prize."

During the one day conference we also had time for fellowship, games and wonderful music lead by the youth. Our family was blessed and privileged to be a part of this conference and to be encouraged by the active participation from the chapel. We look forward to our next opportunity to meet with the believers at Oklahoma Brethren Bible Chapel.
